Overview: As an Account Manager in our Public Sector Business, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing market share of Panasonic Connect Mobility Solutions and Services to government and public safety agencies within your assigned territory. The ideal candidate will reside in the Southern/Eastern part of Florida Responsibilities:

The Account Manager is responsible for the development and execution of a strategy to grow sales and increase market share of Panasonic Connect Mobility Solutions and services within the public sector market across the assigned territory, working with end users and reseller partners, and leveraging all available resources.

  • Interface with and directly call on end-users and customers to create and drive Panasonic Connect Mobility products and services adoption.
  • Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly and annual territory quota for product and services along with achieving strategic goals / targets, as assigned by sales management.
  • Work with partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities to produce year over year assigned growth targets.
  • Work closely with our marketing team to create a comprehensive marketing and demand generation plan, emphasizing campaigns, trade shows, events, and sponsorships that highlight Panasonic Connect Mobility solutions and services in the designated sales territory. Actively engage in these activities as a brand ambassador and effectively communicate our value proposition.
  • When applicable, work with State Standards Committees and State Procurement Agencies to ensure Panasonic Connect Mobility Solutions are included and product information is up to date.
  • Effectively manage all territory management and administrative tasks and reporting in timely manner, including Salesforce customer, pipeline and opportunity data maintenance; sales forecasting; monthly capturing and reporting of sales data (POS); Quarterly Business Review (QBR) functions, and various other required reporting.
  • Timely reporting of business expenses.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • Experience (5+ years) selling technology products and services, preferably to public sector customers
  • Operational experience in a public safety agency is preferred.
  • Proven success strategically managing end-user, reseller, and partner relationships
  • College degree preferred or relevant job-related experience
  • Understanding of pipeline management discipline and ability to explain benefits to partner management / sales teams
  • Able to navigate informal structures and collaborate with internal resources to accomplish company goals
  • Proven track record of navigating all levels of end-user accounts and reseller partners and driving tangible revenue with focus on year-over-year sales growth
  • Experience in autonomously and strategically managing business and sales territories utilizing available resources

Other Requirements:

  • Skilled at Microsoft 365 business applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Copilot; and CRM applications, including customer contacts, sales pipeline, opportunity management, and sales reporting modules (Salesforce preferred)
  • Travel is required 75% of the time. Some weekend work may be required. Hours of work may vary due to business travel, customer availability, and trade show schedules.
  • Ideal candidate will reside near the specified territory
