Job Description:

  • Run a caseload and lead target packages from referral through disruption
  • Conduct legal process, on-chain/off-chain intelligence fusion, and targeting
  • Combine OSINT, link analysis, and direct subject/source engagement to identify and attribute actors
  • Produce defensible attribution write-ups and legal-process returns
  • Map how criminal networks operate
  • Apply AI to accelerate and improve investigative casework while retaining human judgment
  • Collaborate with legal, engineering, external partners, law-enforcement and government partners, financial institutions, and exchanges
  • Perform victim-centered, trauma-informed investigative work
  • Follow protocols for evidence handling, escalation, and mandatory reporting
  • Manage personal content exposure and psychological well-being
  • Participate in weekly manager 1:1s, team syncs, performance check-ins, career-pathing conversations, and wellness check-ins

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of relevant investigative or casework experience in illicit finance, financial crime, cybercrime, trust & safety, all-source intelligence, OSINT, direct human-source engagement, or comparable law-enforcement/intelligence-adjacent work
  • Demonstrated ability to drive information to a real-world outcome
  • Hands-on OSINT collection, tool building/adaptation, or direct engagement with subjects and sources
  • Experience co-running investigations or handing off investigations cleanly
  • Experience delivering answers under RFI-style time pressure
  • Interest in and some exposure to child exploitation, sextortion, closely adjacent investigative work, CT, or Serious Organised Crime
  • AI fluency, required
  • Working knowledge of subpoenas, warrants, and preservation requests, or willingness to learn quickly
  • Solid written communication and ability to produce clear, defensible written packages
  • Sound judgment and resilience when working with emotionally demanding material
  • Fully remote and based in the US or UK
  • Successful completion of an enhanced background check required as a condition of employment
  • Availability for surge periods during time-sensitive referral and disruption windows
