What you will do

  • Process new prescriptions, refills, and discontinuations with a high level of accuracy
  • Maintain complete and compliant patient medication profiles
  • Respond to high-volume inbound calls from hospice partners, prescribers, and clinical staff
  • Triage and resolve routine service inquiries, escalating complex issues appropriately
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and active listening
  • Apply de-escalation techniques when supporting urgent or emotionally sensitive situations
  • Meet service level, quality, productivity, and documentation standards
  • Utilize pharmacy systems and internal tools to manage workflows and document activity
  • Identify service issues and partner with operations leadership on resolution
  • Participate in training, system updates, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a healthcare setting.

Experience

Required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent pharmacy technician experience
Preferred
  • Customer service experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience in call center, mail-order, hospice, or high-volume pharmacy environments

Education

Required
  • High School or better

Licenses & Certifications

Required
  • CPhT or EXCPT
  • Pharmacy Technician

Skills

Preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Clear and effective verbal communication
