In this hourly, remote role, you will be one of the first people applicants interact with as they enter the Toptal network. Your ability to communicate clearly, evaluate candidates accurately, and ensure a positive experience is essential to maintaining Toptal’s high standards.</p> <p>Responsibilities:<br /> – Conduct English screening assessments through live interviews and recorded video submissions, assessing English proficiency, professionalism, and overall fit for the Toptal network<br /> – Provide notes and documentation after each interview<br /> – Support candidates through the screening process and help ensure a smooth, positive experience<br /> – Work with the team to stay aligned on screening expectations and procedures<br /> – Help improve screening workflows and the candidate experience over time </p> <p>What to Expect:<br /> – Interview candidates from a wide range of professional backgrounds (developers, designers, finance experts, etc.)<br /> – Act as Toptal’s first point of contact and deliver a strong, professional brand impression<br /> – Work in a fast-paced, fully remote environment with an emphasis on efficiency and quality<br /> – Complete multiple screenings each day while maintaining high evaluation standards<br /> – Work under an hourly engagement model<br /> – Hours may vary, but you can typically expect up to 8 hours per day based on team needs and your availability </p> <p>Availability:<br /> – Ability to commit to a consistent schedule<br /> – Flexibility to cover key time zones (APAC, EU, and US)<br /> – Availability to support an hourly engagement model, with capacity to work up to 8 hours per day as required </p> <p>Requirements:<br /> – Excellent written and verbal English communication skills<br /> – Strong interpersonal skills and interviewing ability<br /> – Experience conducting interviews or candidate assessments is preferred<br /> – Comfortable with video calls and engaging with candidates globally<br /> – Highly organized with strong time-management skills<br /> – Able to work independently and manage your workload effectively<br /> – Comfortable using tools such as Slack and other collaboration platforms<br /> – Experience working in remote environments is a plus </p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:<br /> – Experience in recruitment, HR, BPO, or talent operations<br /> – Experience supporting international candidates<br /> – Familiarity with screening or evaluation frameworks</p>
