Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications. <br><br></em></em>Option 1: Vocational or technical HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.<br><br>Option 2: 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field.<br><br>Hold and maintains Type I and Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency certification for refrigerant handling.<br><br>Where required, HVAC-R/ Mechanical Journeyman.<br><br>Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle report.<br><br><ul><li> Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years. Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years. No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
