Other Jobs To Apply

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for senior product designers and AI-assisted development professionals with deep expertise in rapid prototyping, UX/UI design, design systems, and human-AI collaborative product development.

This role supports advanced AI evaluation work focused on how experienced designers and product builders approach complex design and development workflows. Selected experts will create realistic scenarios, reference outputs, prototypes, and evaluation rubrics across product design, AI-assisted software development, and rapid prototyping.

Key Responsibilities

Product & UX/UI Design

  • Develop realistic evaluation scenarios involving product design, UX/UI workflows, and visual design systems
  • Create tasks covering interaction design, user journeys, component systems, and product experience
  • Apply human-centred design principles and professional design judgement to complex product scenarios
  • Produce reference design specifications, prototypes, and usability evaluation materials
  • Assess whether proposed solutions meet appropriate standards for usability, consistency, and design quality
AI-Assisted Prototyping & Development
  • Create tasks involving natural-language-driven software development and rapid prototyping
  • Develop realistic workflows using AI coding assistants and AI-native development tools
  • Apply iterative prompt-driven development approaches to prototype applications and product experiences
  • Produce reference prototypes, code artefacts, and implementation examples where appropriate
  • Evaluate how effectively AI-assisted workflows translate product requirements into functional software
Design Systems & Component Libraries
  • Develop scenarios involving scalable design systems and reusable component libraries
  • Evaluate consistency across interaction patterns, visual systems, and product interfaces
  • Create tasks reflecting real-world design-system governance and implementation challenges
  • Assess collaboration between design and engineering when translating design systems into production
  • Apply senior-level judgement to component architecture, documentation, and design consistency
User Research & Usability Evaluation
  • Develop scenarios involving user research, usability testing, and product validation
  • Create structured evaluation tasks based on user feedback and behavioural insights
  • Apply heuristic evaluation and other established UX assessment methods
  • Produce reference usability reports and recommendations
  • Assess whether product decisions appropriately reflect user needs and research findings
AI Evaluation & Rubric Development
  • Design expert-level evaluation tasks for AI systems operating across design and product-development workflows
  • Draft reference outputs demonstrating strong professional judgement
  • Develop detailed rubrics distinguishing senior-level work from generic or template-driven responses
  • Review AI-generated outputs for design quality, usability, technical feasibility, and completeness
  • Identify weaknesses in reasoning, execution, or product judgement and provide structured feedback
Ideal Profile
  • 5 years of professional experience as a Product Designer, Senior Product Designer, Design Lead, AI-native Engineer, product builder, or closely related role
  • Strong experience delivering production-quality digital products, design systems, or AI-assisted development workflows
  • Deep familiarity with product design, UX/UI, rapid prototyping, or AI-assisted software development
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Figma, Framer, Cursor, Claude Code, v0, Replit, or comparable platforms
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles, interaction design, design critique, and rapid iteration
  • Experience owning or contributing substantially to product design systems or component libraries
  • Portfolio demonstrating shipped product, UX/UI, design-system, or AI-assisted development work is strongly preferred
  • Ability to articulate senior-level product and design judgement clearly in writing
  • Experience developing rubrics, conducting design critique, creating training materials, or evaluating professional work is advantageous
  • Experience within a major product-focused organisation, design-forward company, startup, or notable independent product environment is highly valued
Engagement Details
  • Part-time independent contractor engagement
  • Fully remote
  • Flexible scheduling based on project requirements
  • Compensation: $60–$70/hour

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
