You will be interacting with our domestic and international customers in our lobbies and at gates, helping them with ticketing, baggage, greeting customers as they start and end their journey and doing it with a smile. You will provide friendly, professional, confident, and insightful service to help resolve customer travel issues and make their experience memorable.<o:p></o:p></p> </blockquote><h2>Qualifications</h2><blockquote dir="ltr"> <h3 style="font-family: Arial;">What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):</h3> <p style="font-family: Arial;"></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: Arial;">At least 18 years old</li> <li style="font-family: Arial;">High school diploma, GED, or equivalent</li> <li style="font-family: Arial;">Comfortable with computers, mobile devices, and new technologies</li> <li style="font-family: Arial;">Able to stand, walk, and handle baggage for an eight-hour shift</li> <li style="font-family: Arial;">Able to read, write and speak English fluently</li> <li style="font-family: Arial;">Ability to communicate with other departments and flight crews</li> <li style="font-family: Arial;">Must be eligible to acquire and maintain credentials vital for the position</li> <li style="font-family: Arial;">Must pass a background check</li> <li style="font-family: Arial;">Must pass a pre-placement drug screen</li> <li style="font-family: Arial;">Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal Service clearances</li> <li style="font-family: Arial;">Available during day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays; mandatory overtime may be required based on operational need</li> <li style="font-family: Arial;">Able lift up to 70 lbs</li> <li style="font-family: Arial;">Ability to obtain required training certifications, perform safety checks, and successfully complete job functions, including but not limited to Ticket Counters, Gates, Baggage, and operating passenger loading bridges</li> <li style="font-family: Arial;">Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship</li> <li style="font-family: Arial;">Successful completion of interview and assessment required to meet job qualifications</li> <li style="font-family: Arial;">Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position</li> <li style="font-family: Arial;">Ability to meet our uniform, and appearance standards</li> <li style="font-family: Arial;">Must be willing and able to work 100% on-site </li> </ul> </blockquote><br>The starting rate for this role is $19.64.<br>This is also a bonus eligible position (i.e. profit sharing).<br><br>We offer competitive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, accident & disability, employee assistance program, commuter, paid holidays, paid time off, 401(k), pension and flight privileges (subject to the respective collective bargaining agreement).<br><br>United Airlines is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
