Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, shipping and receiving, and ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of goods and materials within our facility, contributing to overall productivity and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to facilitate the movement of goods.
  • Perform inventory management tasks including tracking stock levels, conducting regular inventory counts, and utilizing warehouse management systems.
  • Execute shipping and receiving duties, ensuring accurate order fulfillment through picking, packing, and labeling products for distribution.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks or containers while adhering to safety protocols established by OSHA.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following proper materials handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational challenges.
  • Assist in packaging products for shipment while ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Engage in heavy lifting as required to move materials throughout the warehouse.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred; familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of inventory control practices and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of packaging requirements.
  • Experience in order picking, packing, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills for effective stocking and materials handling.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as needed throughout the shift.
