This role combines hands-on testing with technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is self-directed, organized, and committed to delivering reliable, accessible, and user-centered products.<br><br><strong>This role is fully remote; however, we have a preference for candidates able to work in the Pacific Time Zone (PST) hours to better align with team collaboration. <br><br></strong><strong>This role does not provide visa sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship for a work visa (current or future).<br><br></strong>Help reshape the world through proactive healthcare while working with cutting-edge technology and high performing teams with deep expertise - join us to make a difference in people's lives!<br><br><strong>What You'll Do<br><br></strong><ul><li>Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to establish quality throughout the product development lifecycle.</li><li>Analyze business requirements, architecture, interfaces, integrations, and dependencies to develop comprehensive, risk-based test strategies.</li><li>Define and improve quality standards, testing practices, and processes across the team and partner teams.</li><li>Create and maintain test strategies, plans, cases, and supporting documentation.</li><li>Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications, including exploratory, functional, acceptance, regression, end-to-end, and UI testing.</li><li>Define and advance test automation standards and coverage, balancing product risk with reliability, maintainability, and execution speed.</li><li>Test REST APIs and backend services for correctness, reliability, and resilience.</li><li>Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects and quality risks through resolution.</li><li>Lead root cause analysis with engineers to resolve defects and prevent recurrence.</li><li>Communicate test strategy, quality risks, release readiness, and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Identify systemic quality and process issues, align the appropriate stakeholders, and drive practical improvements through completion.</li><li>Mentor engineers and other team members to strengthen quality practices and shared ownership of quality.</li><li>Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to improve release confidence and delivery speed.</li><li>Evaluate web and mobile applications against applicable accessibility requirements, including WCAG, through manual and automated testing.</li><li>Contribute to performance and security testing based on product risk and team needs.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You'll Bring<br><br></strong><ul><li>7+ years of professional software quality assurance experience.</li><li>Demonstrated success leading quality initiatives across cross-functional and partner teams.</li><li>Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and risk-based testing for complex systems.</li><li>Strong understanding of web and mobile technologies, client-server architecture, APIs, integrations, and system dependencies.</li><li>Hands-on experience testing native or cross-platform mobile applications on iOS and Android, including testing across devices, operating-system versions, screen sizes, and network conditions.</li><li>Hands-on experience testing REST APIs and backend services.</li><li>Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java.</li><li>Experience developing or improving test automation frameworks, standards, coverage, reliability, and maintainability.</li><li>Experience using modern web or mobile automation frameworks and integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows.</li><li>Knowledge of accessibility testing and standards such as WCAG, with experience using tools such as Axe, Lighthouse, or screen readers.</li><li>Experience with defect tracking and test-management tools, such as Jira, in an Agile development environment.</li><li>Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to explain quality risks and technical tradeoffs to varied audiences.</li><li>A record of driving cross-functional quality or process improvements through completion.</li><li>Experience mentoring technical and non-technical colleagues and building quality capability across teams.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Our Values<br><br></strong>First: we are <strong>Pioneers<br><br></strong><ul><li>Transforming healthcare requires divergent thinking, bias for action, disciplined experimentation, and consistent grit and determination to maintain momentum.
