Job Description Job Description The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Plant Operator to work at a company located in the Medley area! Plant Operator Location: Medley, FL Schedule: 5pm - 2am. Candidates must be willing to work any day of the week (including Saturday and Sunday) but will be working 5 days per week with 2 days off. Pay Rate: $15.50/hr Benefits: 401K with Matches, Health Insurance (70% paid by employer), 15 vacation days and 5 sick days. We are hiring professionals for key roles in shipment control and auditing, as well as general warehouse organization and tracking. Main Responsibilities: • Removing frozen salmon from boxes, • Putting the salmon on a tray, • Putting the trays of salmon in an oven to defrost. • Must be able to lift 50lbs • Document control and compliance with outbound processes • Support with inventory, control, and general order • Reporting deviations and coordinating with quality and logistics • Load and unload trucks, stack and store products in the correct warehouse areas. • Maintain accuracy in picking, staging, and replenishing inventory. • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines. • Work efficiently in cold (32°ree;F/0°ree;C) and freezer (-10°ree;F/-23°ree;C or lower) environments for extended periods. • Maintain clean and organized work areas. • Support general warehouse duties as needed (manual pallet movement, labeling, scanning, etc.). Qualifications: • Required: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred • Required: 2 or more years of warehouse experience • Preferred: Experience working in a cold storage or temperature-controlled warehouse. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work for extended periods. • Comfortable working in cold and freezing conditions with proper PPE. • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety compliance. • Basic computer and RF scanner skills a plus. Working Conditions: • Work performed in cold storage (32°ree;F) and freezer environments (-10°ree;F or colder). • PPE (e.g., freezer suits, gloves, face coverings) provided by the company. • Noise levels may be moderate to high due to equipment. • Standing, walking, and lifting for most of the shift.
