When we commit to a job, we get the job done – and we do it fast. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Roles and Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Responsible for distribution of tasks including: </li><li> General Warehousing</li><li> Delivery Services</li><li> Vehicle Maintenance</li><li>Adjustments to these allocations are made as business needs evolve</li><li>Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to and from transport vehicles (trailer trucks/box trucks/delivery vans). </li><li>Follows TireHub safety standards with respect to selecting, packing, counting, labeling, and palletizing customer orders and position them in designated locations using the bin locator system. </li><li>Operates equipment such as forklifts, order pickers and pallet jacks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. </li><li>Conducts and participates in cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of regularly scheduled and annual inventory control procedures. </li><li>Collecting payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions. </li><li>Ensures vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical/physical condition. </li><li>Conducts pre/post-trip vehicle inspections daily and immediately report any operational issues or mechanical defects to the supervisor or designated person. </li><li>Completes all the necessary driver and vehicle maintenance logs, on a regular basis. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all TireHub policies and procedures. </li><li>Participates and maintains ongoing training through in-class, in-person, or computer-based learning modules, as assigned. </li><li>Completes other tasks assigned by their Supervisor or another member of leadership. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Competencies: <br><br></strong><ul><li>Optimizes Work Processes: Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement . </li><li>Manages Ambiguity: Operating effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear. </li><li>Drives Results: Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances . </li><li>Collaborates: Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives . </li><li>Communicates Effectively: Delivers communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. <br><br></li></ul><strong>For this role, you will need:<br><br></strong><ul><li>At least 1 year of general work experience. </li><li>Must have a valid driver’s license. </li><li>Must have a minimum of 2 years of driving history, with a valid driver's license (does not include driver's permit). </li><li>Must be 19 years old or older. </li><li> Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills. </li><li>Repeatedly lift, pull, push and/or move tires (up to 50lbs) with or without mechanical assistance . </li><li>Capable of frequent bending, twisting and lifting . </li><li>Multitask in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Accurately and efficiently load, unload and place tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles. </li><li>Work up to 35 feet above ground-level. </li><li>Work up to 8 hours per day on a forklift. </li><li>Follow traffic rules and regulations by safely driving TireHub vehicles to deliver tires to customer locations. </li><li>Work independently and as part of a team. </li><li>Familiarity with Manifest, GPS and Navigation systems. </li><li>Must be able to maintain a forklift certification. </li><li>Must be able to maintain a valid driver’s license. <br><br></li></ul><strong> Working Conditions<br><br></strong><ul><li> Required to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs. or greater with or without mechanical assistance following standard operating and safety procedures. Other physical requirements including, regularly being required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb and balance. </li><li> Maybe required to handle hazardous materials and wear various forms of protective equipment (gloves, protective eyewear, etc.). </li><li> Specific vision requirements may include close, distance, color, peripheral visions, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. </li><li> Works and operate equipment in various settings, ranging from non-climate-controlled warehouses to customer locations. </li><li> Extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturday) may be required as job duties demand and may include little to no advanced notice. </li><li> Driving during the night or in inclement weather may be required. </li><li> Must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or 6 feet 3 inches in height, to meet physical compatibility with equipment and safety restraints.
