Stepful is seeking a Virtual Didactic Instructor to deliver synchronous online instruction for our Board of Nursing–approved Practical Nursing program in Ohio.<br><br>This is a fully remote, 1099 contract role — teach from anywhere, as long as you hold an active Ohio RN license (or a compact state license that includes Ohio) and are available during our scheduled class times. It’s a great fit for experienced nursing educators, including those currently teaching in adjunct roles, who want flexible contract teaching work that fits around their schedule.<br><br><strong>Schedule & Logistics<br><br></strong>Didactic sessions take place <strong>Monday through Thursday, 4:30–7:00pm ET.</strong> This is a fully virtual role — no travel or on-site presence required. If you’re based in the Columbus, Ohio area and interested in teaching in-person skills labs in addition to didactic instruction, there may be opportunities for that as well.<br><br><strong>What You’ll Do<br><br></strong><ul><li>Deliver live virtual instruction — teach synchronous didactic sessions in maternal health and pediatric nursing via Stepful’s online learning platform</li><li>Engage and support students — facilitate active learning, answer student questions in real time, and foster a positive and supportive virtual classroom environment</li><li>Act as a subject matter expert — bring your specialty clinical knowledge in maternal health and pediatrics into the classroom to prepare students for real-world practice and licensure</li><li>Provide timely feedback — grade assignments and assessments and return constructive feedback to support student progress<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You’ll Bring<br><br></strong><ul><li>2+ years of experience as faculty in an RN or LPN education program</li><li>Specialty clinical experience in pediatrics, obstetrics, and/or maternal health</li><li>2+ years of professional experience as a Registered Nurse, with 5+ years of varied nursing experience across clinical practice, nursing education, and/or administration</li><li>Master's degree in nursing (MSN)</li><li>Active, unencumbered Ohio RN license</li><li>Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners<br><br></li></ul><strong>Interview Process<br><br></strong><ul><li>Intro Call with Talent Team</li><li>Case Study Assignment</li><li>Final Interview<br><br></li></ul>The hourly pay rate for this opportunity is <strong>$50.00/hour</strong>.
