Since we receive many applications, we may move forward with other candidates if we don’t hear back within a reasonable timeframe.

We are currently hiring for a long-term Remote Receptionist position. Responsibilities include answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, calming and resolving complaints, and handling administrative tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This is a performance-based role: each call is recorded and regularly reviewed to ensure quality.

If you feel you would be a better fit for a role with less emphasis on voice work, we also offer positions without voice requirements, with a stronger focus on administrative tasks, depending on availability and overall suitability.

To apply: Copy the questions below, paste them into your response, and answer each one in detail.

Where are you currently located in the Philippines? What backup options do you have in case of internet and power outages?

Please include a screenshot of your internet speed and a few examples of your previous work output.

Please send two short voice recordings. The first should show you scheduling an appointment between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM for a total of $60. The second should show how you would handle a double charge for a 90-minute massage where the customer sees two $90 charges and requests a refund.

Are you currently employed or involved in any other jobs, businesses, freelance projects, or income-generating activities? If so, please describe your current commitments and your typical weekly availability.

Can you work a fixed schedule of 7 days for 6 hours per day during standard Central Time (CST) hours? What hourly or monthly pay rate do you expect, and what is your earliest possible date to start on-site if hired?

Describe three specific job tasks that you have personally completed at least 100 times. For each task, explain your exact step-by-step process, the tools or systems you used, and the typical outcome or output.

If you were hired today, what 3 specific tasks could you complete fully on your own during your first week? For each, describe the task, the tools/software involved, and what successful completion would look like.

What is the highest workload you have personally handled in a single day or in one week? Provide specific, measurable numbers and briefly explain the situation.

Briefly introduce yourself and explain the qualities, experiences, work habits, or achievements that you believe truly set you apart from other applicants for this role.

Upgrade to Premium to view the salary and compensation for all jobs.

Location
Virginia,

1. HOW DO YOU PLAN YOUR DAY?

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? Remote teams can be made up of people working on different shifts and around the world, so you won't necessarily be stuck in the 9-5 schedule if it's not for you...

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

3. WHAT IS "WORKING REMOTE" REALLY FOR YOU?

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

8. HOW TO PRIORITIZE WORK?

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
