The Role

Make the work of our customers delivering life-changing medicines and treatments to patients more efficient and productive. We are looking for an experienced technical product manager to design and deliver high-value AI Agent solutions for Vault Medical.
In this role, you will be the expert in leveraging AI to automate the content lifecycle, from speeding up the Medical review process to automating scientific literature publishing to automating the generation of medical information responses. You will build AI agents that help medical affairs teams accelerate speed-to-market for critical health communications while ensuring compliance.
What You'll Do
    • Be hands-on. Design, prototype, define, configure, and validate solutions rapidly to ensure we solve the right problems, in the right order
    • Be agile. Design, implement, iterate
    • Be a storyteller. Author & design high-quality specifications and communicate specific, actionable requirements to your engineering teammates
    • Be a team player. Work with Engineering, QA, and Product Management to build solutions that harmonize across Veeva applications
    • AI Orchestration & Design: Lead the design of production-ready AI Agent applications, focusing on data flow orchestration, RAG architectures, and complex prompt engineering
    • Strategic Product Discovery: Navigate the probabilistic nature of AI by identifying high-impact use cases where LLMs can solve non-deterministic problems in Medical Affairs workflows
    • Performance & Value Metrics: Define and track clear KPIs for AI success to demonstrate ROI to stakeholders
    • Take pride in your work with a passion for excellence
Requirements
    • 5+ years of enterprise software product management, engineering, or consulting experience
    • 2+ years of hands-on focus on AI/ML applications, specifically LLMs and Generative AI
    • Technical Proficiency: Strong coding skills in Python and experience with AI Frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) and APIs
    • Architectural Knowledge: Deep understanding of data flow design, prompt engineering, and model fine-tuning for highly regulated content
    • Communication: Ability to translate complex AI concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders in Legal, Medical, and Regulatory departments
    • Collaboration: Proven track record of working with UX and Engineering to build intuitive tools for complex workflows
    • Experience with data modeling (ERDs)
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with ambiguity
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline
    • Must be based in a region in the Eastern Standard Time zone
    • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the USA or Canada
Nice to Have
    • Domain Expertise: Direct experience with Veeva Vault Medical
    • Life Sciences Experience: Familiarity with scientific literature planning, authoring, review, submissions, or publishing
    • Data Background: Experience as a data scientist, machine learning, or data engineering role

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
