Job Description:

  • Lead technical discovery/qualification with prospective customers to understand their 3D production pipeline, business goals, and automation needs.
  • Invent and present tailored solution architectures demonstrating how Substance 3D automation addresses customer requirements.
  • Build and deliver compelling demos, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and prototypes using our APIs for key accounts.
  • Work closely with Sales person and Technical Program Manager to translate customer requirements into clear, technically sound proposals.
  • Set realistic expectations early in the sales cycle, anticipating delivery constraints and flagging risks before closing.
  • Support customer-facing presentations, acting as the technical authority in the room.
  • Build positive relationships with technical and business partners at prospective and existing enterprise accounts.
  • Act as a bridge between customer needs and Adobe’s product, engineering, and technical artist teams.
  • Remain engaged post-sale as a technical participant, supporting smooth handoff to the TPgM and maintaining continuity of the customer relationship.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a solutions architect or consultant, pre-sales engineer, senior technical consulting or other relevant role
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of 3D production pipelines in an enterprise context – including 3D data formats, rendering, and automation workflows.
  • Ability to write production-grade Python code contributing to automation pipelines, and to engage credibly with 3D technical artists and engineers.
  • Ability to scope and compose technical solutions for complex, ambiguous customer problems – turning discovery into clear, executable architectures.
  • Excellent communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences – equally comfortable whiteboarding with engineers and presenting to customer partners.
  • Proactive, customer focused, positive mentality with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
