Senior Manager, Total Video Media

Other Jobs To Apply

At Constant Contact, we are seriously awesome people who take ownership and make an impact by operating with the mindset, integrity and courage of a small business owner. There’s something so profoundly rewarding about knowing that your work is empowering people everywhere to pursue their dreams.  Here, we all play an integral part in helping business owners, entrepreneurs, non-profits and individuals to succeed by giving them all the help and tools they need to grow online. We’re energized by new challenges and new possibilities-and we’re just getting started!

Constant Contact is building the first AI-native marketing organization in the SMB software space — and this role sits at the center of one of our highest-impact investment areas. As Senior Manager, Total Video Media, you will own the strategy and execution of YouTube, Connected TV, and Linear TV as integrated performance channels, with a clear mandate: drive measurable new customer acquisition and free trial sign-ups at efficient CAC.

This is not a campaign manager role. You will architect media strategy, own direct publisher and platform relationships, and work hand-in-hand with an AI media optimization layer (Albert.ai + Google Performance Max) that handles real-time bidding and budget pacing. Your leverage is judgment, not volume — the AI handles the inputs; you own the outcomes.

If you thrive at the intersection of brand storytelling and performance rigor, understand how video works across the full funnel, and want to build something that becomes a competitive moat for a brand serving 700,000+ small businesses — this role was written for you.

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop media strategies across Total Video (YouTube, CTV, and Linear TV) focused on driving measurable new customer acquisition and brand goals.
  • Build cross-channel plans aligned to brand goals, CAC targets, trial sign-up goals, and audience expansion initiatives.
  • Own the annual and quarterly Total Video investment thesis — how much, where, and why — with clear ROI modeling tied to funnel outcomes.

Execution & Buying

  • Execute hands-on buys across YouTube (Google Ads) and programmatic CTV/OTT (DSPs including DV360 or The Trade Desk) that integrate with offline channels to improve reach and funnel performance.
  • Negotiate directly with networks, publishers, and platforms to secure Private Marketplace (PMP) deals, Deal IDs, and efficient pricing for premium video inventory.
  • Monitor budgets daily inside platforms to ensure efficient pacing toward brand, lead, trial, and CPA goals — with AI tools handling granular bid management.

Optimization & Testing

  • Conduct real-time optimizations across YouTube bidding, CTV placements, creative variations, and flighting to improve conversion outcomes — operating in close partnership with ai and Performance Max automation.
  • Implement structured testing (creative, audiences, partners, and dayparts) with clear hypotheses and decision rules, specifically designed for video-first environments.
  • Own a rigorous creative feedback loop — translating performance data into creative briefs that improve video story resonance and conversion over time.

Measurement & Collaboration

  • Partner with Analytics to align channel performance with downstream metrics including brand lift, trial activation, and paid conversion — including view-through attribution across CTV and YouTube.
  • Collaborate with MarTech and Analytics to improve attribution tracking accuracy and measurement methodology across video platforms.
  • Work closely with Growth Marketing, Creative, and Brand to ensure Total Video media strategy supports global GTM priorities and is integrated with the broader funnel.

What you bring:

Required

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in video media buying — YouTube required; CTV/OTT strongly preferred.
  • Deep platform fluency in Google Ads (YouTube campaigns), DV360, and/or The Trade Desk. You've operated these platforms directly, not just managed agencies.
  • Experience structuring and negotiating PMP deals, Deal IDs, and direct publisher buys for premium video.
  • Strong command of video measurement methodologies including view-through attribution, brand lift studies, and cross-channel reach/frequency.
  • Proven ability to manage significant media budgets ($2M+/year) with clear accountability for performance outcomes.
  • Experience working in a performance-driven, data-first environment where creative and media decisions are hypothesis-driven and tested rigorously.
  • Collaborative working style — this role is deeply cross-functional across Brand, Creative, Analytics, and Growth Marketing.

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience with AI-assisted media tools (Albert.ai, Trade Desk ai KGoogle Performance Max, or equivalent autonomous bidding platforms).
  • Background in SaaS or subscription businesses with CAC/LTV-based performance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Linear TV buying or planning — even if CTV/digital is your primary domain.
  • Experience contributing to creative briefs and the feedback loop between media performance data and creative strategy.
