As a Security Officer - Digital Business Campus in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns and collaborating with onsite teams. Pay Rate: $18.53 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time
Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the commercial property, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and authorized entry procedures in accordance with site policies; document observations and report incidents to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services when needed.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
