The Scheduler’s primary responsibility is to maximize the efficient utilization of Tradewind Aviation’s entire fleet of aircraft. The Scheduler supports the Sales team by checking availability of crew and aircraft to meet demand. Once trips are booked, the Scheduler is responsible for continuously ensuring the most efficient use of resources to deliver top-level service to Tradewind Aviation’s customers in a rapidly changing environment. Must be flexible with work schedule and able to work weekends and holidays. This position will require onsite attendance one week per quarter in Oxford, CT.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Maintain a culture of total client service, focused on anticipating client needs and exceeding their expectations. </li><li>Identify safety hazards and report to a supervisor or through the Safety Management System (SMS). </li><li>Monitor current flights and ensure proceeding trips are not delayed. </li><li>Handle schedule interruptions and notify applicable departments. </li><li>Schedule new trips. </li><li>Maximize the efficiency of crew and aircraft schedules. </li><li>Ensure compliance with FARs and company policies. </li><li>Provide trip availability to Sales. </li><li>Coordinate trip changes with Client Services. </li><li>Arrange schedule to fulfill maintenance needs. </li><li>Assist with crew training. </li><li>Build new scheduled service flights as necessary. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><strong>QUALIFICATIONS<br><br></strong><ul><li>6+ months aviation experience as an Aircraft Scheduler. </li><li>Experience in aviation scheduling software. </li><li>FAA dispatch license preferred. </li><li>Problem solving skills. </li><li>Ability to handle frequent changes. </li><li>Capability to handle stressful situations in a professional manner. </li><li>Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. <br><br></li></ul><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS<br><br></strong><ul><li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer</li><li>Must be able to lift 15 lbs. at times<br><br></li></ul><strong>Tradewind Aviation offers a competitive pay and benefits program for full-time team members:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Comprehensive health and voluntary insurance plans</li><li>Retirement plan with company match</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Standby travel on select Tradewind Aviation scheduled flights</li><li>Discounted standby travel benefits on numerous major and regional US and international airlines</li><li>A rewarding career path with opportunities for growth and advancement throughout the organization</li></ul>
