Job Title: SAP Architect - AI/BTP

Position Type: Full-time

Location: Remote, travel required

Position Overview:

SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) & AI Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP BTP solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements and well as evangelizing our BTP and AI services within the organization and providing strategic advice to the executives of our customers. This role requires deep expertise in SAP's cloud platform offerings and the ability to architect scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. Beyond BTP, this individual should be trained and well versed in AI technologies, including SAP Joule and AI integration with SAP BTP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop comprehensive SAP BTP architecture solutions that address business needs
  • Link up with HCLTech AI group, advise on what should be developed, helping the SAP practice
  • Staying up to date on the capabilities of HCLTech’s AI group and feeding that information back to the SAP practice
  • Support sales proposals and ensure that AI use cases and approaches are included in the
  • Consult customers in latest AI trends and promote & explain HCLTech AI Force solutions
  • Lead technical discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements and present architectural recommendations
  • Create detailed architecture blueprints, including integration patterns, security frameworks, and data models
  • Provide technical guidance on SAP BTP components including HANA Cloud, Integration Suite, Extension Suite, and Cloud Foundry environment
  • Develop migration strategies for transitioning from on-premise SAP systems to cloud-based BTP solutions
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, data protection regulations, and industry best practices
  • Mentor and guide development teams on SAP BTP implementation best practices
  • Stay current with SAP BTP roadmap and new capabilities to leverage emerging technologies
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience with SAP technologies, including at least 3 years focused on SAP BTP
  • Strong knowledge of SAP BTP services: HANA Cloud, Integration Suite, Workflow Management, Extension Suite (SAP Work zone, Cloud Foundry apps & BTP ABAP)
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Proficiency in integration technologies (OData, REST APIs, SAP CPI)
  • Proficient in latest AI technology including, but not limited to SAP Joule
  • Understanding of security concepts and implementation in cloud environments
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP certifications (SAP BTP, HANA, Integration Suite)
  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Basic AI training and ideally certifications
  • Knowledge of SAPUI5/Fiori development
  • Experience with API management and design
  • Familiarity with low-code/no-code development platforms (SAP AppGyver)
  • Experience with agile methodologies
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Capacity to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities

Pay and Benefits Negotiable!

Pay Range Minimum: $152000 + bonus

Pay Range Maximum: $260,000 + bonus
