As a Retail Area Manager for the Samsung home theater department, you’ll support and coordinate the work of Best Buy’s Samsung Retail Sales Specialists in stores across a multi-state territory. You’ll be responsible for training, developing, coaching and supporting team members in your service area. To help support your team, you’ll become an expert on Samsung products and services that help customers upgrade their entertainment.<br><br><strong>What You’ll Do<br><br></strong><ul><li>Coach a team of up to 25 people across a multi-state territory</li><li>Meet key performance indicator (KPI) goals for team</li><li>Coordinate and execute meetings with all direct reports on a regular cadence virtually and in person if geography allows</li><li>Become a subject matter expert on all relevant products to support and evaluate direct reports’ effectiveness</li><li>Overnight travel up to once a week</li><li>Attend off-site multi-day training twice a year<br><br></li></ul><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>1 year of leadership experience</li><li>Previous experience in sales, customer service or related field</li><li>Ability to work successfully as part of a team</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends</li><li>Must be at least 18 years old<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>1 year of consumer electronics industry experience</li><li>Prior experience setting retail sales goals</li><li>Proven leadership acumen</li><li>Presentation skills; group training experience both in-person and virtually</li><li>Microsoft suite proficiency, specifically PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel<br><br></li></ul><strong>What’s In It For You<br><br></strong>We’re committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
