Job- Project Manager/ Delivery Leader
Location- Columbus OH

Description:
As a Delivery Leader you'll be responsible for delivering value and outcomes. Delivery leaders are expected to have an end-to-end vantage point on delivery, manage dependencies, remove blockers, engage stakeholders, manage financials, maximize vendor relationships, and enable an iterative delivery of value. You will need to keep pace with software delivery and organizational change methods and tools. Delivery leaders should also understand relevant Financial and Agile/Lean/DevOps tools and techniques.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Strong Project Management Foundation: Experience managing complex information technology efforts, where multiple business and technology teams are involved. Solid grounding in Waterfall and Agile methodologies and ability to operate within a hybrid environment where variations of these and other methodologies are employed.
Experience with financial and project management tools and processes: Experience leveraging tools to manage demand / capacity and an understanding of how project allocations impact demand / capacity is important in the role.
Executive Presence: The ability to inspire confidence and command respect through a combination of demeanor, communication skills, and demonstrated competence in role-specific activities.
Relationship Building Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills are critical. This ideal candidate will have the ability to quickly establish strong, trusted working relationships.
Effective Communication: The candidate must be able to articulate ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Collaboration: The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the SEPM, Agile Leader and Product Owner roles. Demonstrated experience collaborating in a similar environment with these or similar roles is highly desirable.
Motivated Driver / Self-Starter: This position requires the candidate to be a self-starter, to understand where to focus given many complex project efforts in flight at any given time and to be able to drive efforts through to completion.
Stakeholder Management: The ideal candidate will engage with stakeholders effectively, communicate project progress, address concerns, and ensure alignment with business goals. An understanding of how to accomplish delivery in a complex, matrixed corporate environment is critical.
Facilitation Skills: The candidate will facilitate meetings and working sessions and must have strong facilitation skills, to ensure meetings achieve planned goals and all voices are included in the process.
Time and Priority Management: Managing multiple tasks and priorities is essential. The candidate must ensure projects stay on track and stay within budget. Experience and ability to manage, track, drive and deliver many project efforts simultaneously is important.
Analytical Abilities: The candidate should be adept at problem-solving and decision-making. Analyzing project data, identifying trends, and making informed choices are crucial.
