As a Principal Solutions Engineer for the LATAM market, you will be at the forefront of this transformation, helping our largest customers in the region navigate complex business problems using our AI-powered System of Work. Responsibilities Strategic Partnership: Partner with account teams and channel partners to manage Fortune 500 and large enterprise accounts across LATAM, optimizing the customer profile, roadmaps, and solution success. Spanish-Language Expertise: Lead all technical engagements, discovery sessions, and value-based demonstrations in Spanish, ensuring a deep cultural and linguistic connection with our LATAM customers. AI & Platform Advocacy: Act as a subject matter expert on Atlassian’s AI capabilities (Rovo) and the Teamwork Graph, showing customers how actionable AI can transform their workflows and business outcomes. Value Discovery: Lead deep-dive discovery sessions to understand complex pain points and map them back to Atlassian’s platform and System of Work vision. Solution Architecture: Lead compelling, customized demonstrations that flex across stakeholder needs – from deep technical product dives to high-level vision pitches for C-suite executives. Cross-Functional Influence: Proactively forge strong partnerships with Account Executives to improve the selling cycle and provide bi-directional feedback to Product Management regarding regional market needs and competitive intelligence. Continuous Innovation: Participate in Atlassian rituals like ShipIt and AI School to stay at the cutting edge of technology, ensuring your career grows alongside the evolution of AI. This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity. Pay Ranges In The United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are: Zone A: $193,730 - $252,925 Zone B: $174,357 - $227,633 Zone C: $160,796 - $209,928 Qualifications About You: Experience: 8+ years of experience interacting with enterprise customers in a pre-sales/solutions engineering capacity, specifically handling complex, high-stakes deals. Language: Native fluency in Spanish and English is required to support the LATAM market and internal global collaboration. Technical & Business Acumen: You are equally comfortable in a business and technical context, able to interpret complex business problems and boil them down into technical solutions that deliver value. AI-Ready Mindset: You have a passion for AI and emerging technologies, with the ability to articulate the value of human-AI collaboration to customers. Customer-Centricity: A proven track record of building executive relationships and rallying internal teams to collaborate across the company to meet customer needs.
