Programs.<br><br><strong>Role Overview<br><br></strong>The Part-Time Security Specialist (3rd Shift) is responsible for helping maintain a safe and secure environment for Indiana State Museum & Historic Sites (ISMHS) employees, visitors, collections, exhibits, facilities, and state property during overnight operations. The primary responsibilities include conducting routine interior and exterior security patrols; monitoring surveillance cameras, access control, intrusion detection, fire/life-safety, and other security systems; responding appropriately to alarms, emergencies, suspicious activity, and security-related incidents; securing and monitoring designated areas of the facility; assisting with after-hours contractors and authorized personnel; completing Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports; and promptly communicating significant security, safety, maintenance, or operational concerns to the Shift Lead and Security Management. The position may also assist with monitoring alarms and security-related activity involving ISMHS historic sites and coordinating with appropriate emergency responders when required by established procedures.<br><br>This Is a Part-time, 3rd Shift Position Within a Security Department That Operates 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week, 365 Days a Year.
