JOB DUTIES: INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE APPLIED:

Supervise assigned crew to ensure work is performed in a safe and productive manner. Maintain work levels to be in compliance with the client, legal, government, and company guidelines and policies.

Plan the meals and ensure the quality and timeliness of the meals being served. Is responsible for the preparation of the daytime tower meals and will insure the quality and preparation of night tower meal and bakery items.

Maintain proper rotation of product being sent to the vessel to ensure freshness and reduce losses.

Maintain inventory supply levels and condition of inventory. This includes food, materials and supplies.

Maintain an adequate supply of clean linen for the vessel, whether linen is cleaned on board or out sourced.

Perform daily inspections of the living quarters including the mess hall and galley to ensure cleanliness standards are being met

Comply with nutritional requirements of a contract with a client

Enforce and maintain sanitation and hygiene standards for all personnel aboard

Ensure meals are served according to contract meal times and that they are ready on time

Maintain a clean and well organized work area at all times

Galleyhand Job Description:

Clean and maintain living quarters (bedrooms, restrooms, galley, hallways, recreational room, stairways, and offices)

Prepare and serve appropriate food as directed by steward

Prepare and maintain fresh coffee supply at all times

Clean and sanitize dishes, glasses, and utensils

Store foods in a safe manner for health and sanitation purposes

Clean and sanitize all refuse containers

Unload and stock groceries using proper rotation

Make beds daily and clean state rooms

Clean and sanitize pots and pans

Clean and organize storage areas practicing proper rotation

Valid T-Huet (Tropical Helicopter Underwater Egress Training)
