Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Night Shift Warehouse Order Selector to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting, packing, and preparing orders for shipment during the overnight hours. Your expertise in warehouse operations, heavy equipment operation, and inventory management will ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Duties

  • Safely operate warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery to pick and transport inventory items.
  • Use barcode scanning technology and warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately select products according to order specifications.
  • Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy items and packing products securely for shipment.
  • Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure orders are complete, accurate, and meet company standards.
  • Prepare orders for shipping by packing items properly, labeling packages correctly, and using appropriate materials handling techniques.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts, updates in inventory management systems, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Follow safety guidelines during all warehouse operations to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize workflow during night shifts.
  • Assist in shipping & receiving activities, ensuring timely processing of inbound and outbound goods.

Experience

  • Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, barcode scanning technology, and inventory management systems.
  • Prior experience in order picking, packing, shipping & receiving within a distribution or warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to manual handling and heavy equipment operation.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for order accuracy and inventory control.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for inventory counts and order processing.
  • Experience working under safety regulations including PPE use and proper handling of materials.
  • Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
