<strong>How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities)<br><br></strong>The Commercial Strategy MBA Leadership Development Program is designed to build a strong, versatile, and values-driven leadership pipeline for Delta. With ever-changing business needs, Delta seeks MBA talent to solve some of our biggest challenges and ensure a competitive position in the marketplace.<br><br>This two-year rotational program is based at Delta’s headquarters in Atlanta, GA and is designed to provide MBA Associates with broad exposure across the Commercial organization. Participants complete one year in Network Planning or Revenue Management and one year in Sales, Customer Engagement Loyalty, or Reservations. Throughout the program, MBA Associates will also collaborate and engage with colleagues in the Finance MBA Leadership Development Program and across the operational teams, gaining exposure to enterprise-wide decision-making and what it truly means to lead at Delta.<br><br><strong>Commercial Department Placements For MBA Associates Include<br><br></strong><ul><li>PRICING & REVENUE MANAGEMENT: Optimize Delta’s product pricing over millions of route and date combinations to grow revenue and provide customer choice leveraging deep analytical insights, industry-leading tools and technology, and cross-commercial engagement. </li><li>NETWORK (ROUTE) PLANNING: Maximize system profitability by aligning capacity with demand through the disciplined deployment of aircraft, including optimization of scheduled flight times, market level capacity, and development of high-value new route opportunities.</li><li>GLOBAL SALES & DISTRIBUTION: Improve the value proposition for Delta’s corporate clients by evaluating the financial impact of incentive programs and designing data-driven sales strategies that drive incremental revenue. Leverage technology to deliver consistent Delta products across all channels, strengthening customer trust and confidence in Delta as a retailer.</li><li>CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT & LOYALTY: Leverage data-driven insights to monitor performance, identify trends, and refine offerings across the SkyMiles ecosystem—including Medallion elite benefits, Sky Club experiences, and the American Express co-brand partnership—to deepen engagement and loyalty among Delta’s most valuable customers.</li><li>RESERVATIONS: Develop recommendations for process improvements for reservations centers, call-handling strategies, and customer segmentation to enhance service quality, increase employee engagement, and drive cost efficiencies.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)<br><br></strong><ul><li>Current MBA Student</li><li>Must have a planned MBA program graduation date by the Summer of 2027</li><li>At least three years (36 months) of post-undergraduate work experience in a dynamic, professional environment or relevant military experience</li><li>Must be able to work onsite in our Atlanta, GA office</li><li>Curiosity about the airline industry</li><li>Analytical and creative problem solving</li><li>Consistent track record of excellence</li><li>Ability to excel in fast-paced, matrix-team environment</li><li>Strong analytical, leadership, and communication (written and verbal) skills</li><li>Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles</li><li>Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency</li><li>Is at least 18 years of age and has permanent authorization to work in the United States<br><br></li></ul><strong>What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)<br><br></strong><ul><li>Ideal candidates are proactive self-starters who excel at driving impactful business results and take full ownership of their projects</li><li>Experience building and fostering strong relationships throughout the organization to incorporate cross-functional insights into deliverables<br><br></li></ul><strong>Benefits And Perks To Help You Keep Climbing<br><br></strong>Our culture is rooted in a shared dedication to living our values – Care, Integrity, Resilience and Servant Leadership – every day, in everything we do.
