About the team The global ABP Team acts as a critical platform that enables and improves efficiencies and effectiveness across Stripe by providing high-value, high-impact administrative support to leadership. The global ABP Team is a recognized and valued team that is integral to how Stripe operates. A crucial part of the global ABP Team is our Administrative Coordinator team—a centralized group of highly motivated and skilled individuals who offer core administrative support to Stripe leaders. What you’ll do As the Administrative Coordinator program and team grow, you'll find ways to successfully build processes and systems for scale, manage hiring practices that maintain the Stripe talent bar, and manage individual contributors across multiple regions. Additionally, you'll build relationships with key stakeholders and leaders across the organization that enable and support the work of the Administrative Coordinators and the larger global ABP Team. You'll report to and partner closely with the ABP Program Manager and support operational efforts, programming, and processes for the global ABP Program, including operating cadence, rhythm of business, and documentation. Responsibilities - Manage and lead a team of Administrative Coordinators - Maintain an understanding of team workload and bandwidth - Develop and maintain adherence to the scope of the program and ensure individuals are set up for success - Maintain an understanding of team and individual performance and quality of support - Develop and maintain program documentation and guidelines - Provide regular and frequent feedback and coaching to individual team members - Address program escalations, feedback, and concerns - Develop strong executive, peer, and stakeholder relationships, maintaining effective communication channels and influencing without authority - Manage the headcount and capacity planning process in partnership with the ABP Program Manager - Manage the onboarding and training (and associated logistics) for new Administrative Coordinators - Serve as an expert on Stripe- and ABP-related policies and guidelines (e.g., travel and expenses) and enforce with the team—provide guidance and expectations around administrative best practices, tools, and processes - Identify and solve large-scale, ambiguous, and complex problems with company- and org-wide impact and drive org-wide strategic improvements - Drive key changes to programs to achieve future-state objectives, including processes, documentation, measurement, etc. - Draft and distribute comms across the ABP Team and to key stakeholders - Ideate and implement process improvements for the global ABP Program - Drive efficiency through simplification, automation, and continuous improvement of systems, processes, and ways of working - Contribute to strategic planning and roadmapping for the global ABP Program - Support existing tools, processes, templates, playbooks, and knowledge management efforts - Exhibit excellent judgment on sensitive and cross-functional issues, building collaboration between leaders, sub-teams, and the larger organization Who you are We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. Minimum requirements - Experience managing stakeholders and influencing critical client relationships - Experience in headcount planning and hiring practices - Experience in project and program management - Experience as an Administrative or Executive Assistant or deep knowledge of the administrative support role Preferred qualifications - Experience managing or leading individuals or a small team - Experience in managing global programs - Experience mentoring, growing, and developing individual contributors - Experience managing bandwidth and balancing workloads of multiple individuals
