We are seeking an experienced and outstanding IT Project Manager for one of our esteemed clients.

Overview:

The Information Technology Project Manager will lead complex, cross-organizational CRM and digital transformation initiatives. This role requires strong experience with Zoho CRM and preferred experience with Zoho Analytics, Zoho Creator, Genesys or similar contact-center platforms. The Project Manager will coordinate business, technology, data, architecture, integration, compliance, quality assurance, and organizational readiness activities while establishing clear scope, sequencing, governance, and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business owners, CRM, data, architecture, business analysis, integration, quality assurance, compliance, change management, training, and communications teams to define requirements, validate designs, and coordinate delivery.
  • Apply hands-on CRM project leadership, with emphasis on Zoho CRM modules, fields, layouts, workflows, automations, data structures, reporting, analytics, integrations, security, and user adoption.
  • Lead enterprise CRM and digital transformation initiatives from intake and discovery through implementation, adoption, stabilization, and closeout.
  • Preferred experience with Zoho Analytics, Zoho Creator, Genesys, and other CRM, workflow automation, and contact-center technologies.
  • Own the outcome. Execute as one collectively with IT leadership peers.

  • Collaboratively plan with program leaders and other project managers to develop detailed IT work plans, critical success factors; project charters, business and technology requirements, specifications, and deliverables; portfolio roadmaps (priority, timing); funding and resource requirements; schedules; cost estimates; risk assessments and mitigation plans; RAID logs; contractual documents (external
    providers) and to monitor and measure progress and proactively correct course as required.
  • Ensure project alignment with business strategy, resource allocations and required timing, monitoring team capacity and progress, and ensuring proper balance between backlog and work in process.
  • Develop financial analyses of benefits, costs and ensure investments are commensurate with the value derived. Incorporate non-financial value (risk mitigation, compliance, customer satisfaction, quality, obsolescence, etc.) into project analyses and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders and suppliers to advance best practices for project intake to delivery, including financial management, resource planning, project governance, and business change readiness.
  • Maintain alignment with IT and solution architecture and governance requirements, producing or capturing required artifacts.
  • Employ modern agile (most likely based on the scaled agile framework) and DevSecOps practices (on the Microsoft DevOps platform).
  • Ensure that expectations of all project participants and stakeholders are clearly defined, understood by them and are commensurate with their skill and capacity.
  • Incorporate business process improvement and organizational readiness into project planning to ensure effective implementation and adoption of technology.
  • Produce concise executive reporting that communicates delivery status, milestones, decisions, dependencies, resource constraints, risks, mitigation actions, expected value, and organizational impacts.

Support Institutional Initiatives:

  • Keeps current with institutional goals, objectives, and progress.
  • Engages in institutional sponsored activities and initiatives as appropriate.
  • Leads with courage in support of change initiatives that impact organization.
  • Assists in coordinating efforts between departments within UMA.

Compliance:

  • Demonstrates knowledge of and carefully follows all applicable federal and state compliance requirements and regulations including those prescribed by the Department of Education, accrediting agencies, CIE, and internal UMA policies and procedures.
  • Effectively communicates compliance requirements to students and other staff as appropriate and quickly escalates any compliance concerns to the Compliance department.

Work Experience, Skills & Abilities:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, management information systems, engineering, computer science or a similar discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 years' project management experience within a formal portfolio / program management office, initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and delivering enterprise-scale, cross-organizational, information technology projects, including those leveraging SaaS solutions and cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure.
  • Relevant certifications e.g., PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP); Scaled Agile (SAFe), Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Prince2.
  • Understanding of standards-based project management and business analysis practices (Agile/Six-Sigma/Lean), with demonstrable skills in related tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of information technology development practices, technology, SDLC and terminology, including applications, data, quality assurance, security, and infrastructure domains.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skill.
  • Contagious energy, enthusiasm, and resiliency with excellent organizational communication (both verbal and written), negotiation, team facilitation and leadership skills. Comfortable communicating and influencing from the contact center to the board room.
  • Ability to craft written proposals, scopes of work, project plans and estimates.
  • Comfortable leading multiple, parallel, interdependent projects through ambiguity, uncertainty, and complexity.
  • Exhibits an information-based, decision-making mindset, strong analytical and technical capabilities to assess and drive process improvements and manage complex projects.
  • Natural curiosity to learn, ask questions, identify mistaken assumptions, and bring an open-minded approach. Proactive results focused initiative.
  • Ability to manage fully remote teams, on and offshore, including meshing multiple internal and external entities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Planner, Visio, Project (including the emerging cloud versions), Azure DevOps and other similar project management solutions (e.g., Planview, Workfront, etc.) and in creating compelling project visualizations and presentations.
  • Independent critical thinking, problem solving and business acumen.
  • Capable of broadly representing IT peers on any program or project overall and in any forum.
  • Experience with IT governance and compliance requirements and procedures.
  • Ability to manage scope and sequencing across an active transformation portfolio, identify duplicate effort or rework, and facilitate timely decisions with business and technology leaders.
  • Experience planning and coordinating system integration, end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing, cutover readiness, organizational change readiness, training, communications, and stabilization.
  • Ability to translate business processes into clear requirements, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, release plans, and measurable outcomes while maintaining traceability through delivery.
  • Experience leading data-quality and migration-readiness initiatives, including profiling, deduplication, standardization, hierarchy design, field rationalization, ownership, and governance.
  • Experience managing complex, interdependent workstreams that share constrained CRM, data, architecture, business analysis, integration, quality assurance, and business subject matter resources.
  • Demonstrated Zoho CRM experience, including practical knowledge of modules, fields, layouts, workflows, automations, reporting or analytics, data quality, security, and integration considerations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading CRM implementations or major CRM modernization initiatives, including requirements, configuration, workflow automation, data conversion, integrations, testing, deployment, and adoption.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 5 -10 years of project management experience.
  • Experience with lean management principles.
  • Consulting experience.
  • Experience with frameworks like SOX, COBIT, GLBA and NIST 800.
  • Experience managing CRM and digital modernization initiatives that must remain aligned with target-state architecture, enterprise governance, and other strategic transformation efforts.
  • Experience delivering responsible AI or advanced analytics use cases with governance, privacy, security, data readiness, measurable value, human oversight, testing, and monitoring.
  • Experience with externship or clinical-placement processes, including site submissions, registration or reconciliation, affiliation or employer data, compliance requirements, and process variation.
  • Experience supporting Career Services processes, including employer engagement, placement activities, graduate success, job matching, and related reporting or workflow needs.
  • Experience in higher education or student-services environments, including familiarity with student lifecycle operations, regulatory considerations, and cross-functional academic or administrative processes.
  • Experience with Genesys or similar contact-center platforms and CRM integrations supporting voice, chat, SMS, campaigns, routing, or advisor workflows.
  • Experience with Zoho Creator or comparable low-code platforms used to extend CRM capabilities and support business workflows.
  • Experience with Zoho Analytics, including CRM reporting, dashboards, data modeling, and actionable business insights.

Working Environment:

  • Fully remote role with only occasional, planned onsite or travel requirements.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Physical Demands:

  • Requires long periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer.

  • Requires occasional bending, stooping, and squatting.
