Inbound Remote Sales Representative - Liberty Mutual Insurance

Job Details

As an Inside Sales Agent you will be handling inbound calls and warm leads, consulting with customers on their insurance needs and matching the correct coverages, products, and benefits to convert sales leads into policyholders.

Position Details

  • From day one you will begin paid training in a remote work environment. A Property & Casualty Insurance license is required; training includes licensing if you do not currently hold a license.
  • Training extends over 16 weeks for licensed hires and 18 weeks for unlicensed hires.
  • Comprehensive medical benefits from Day 1.
  • No cold calls; all inbound warm leads.
  • Opportunities for rewards and recognition.
  • Must be available to work a schedule of 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day with a mid-morning start time (example: 11am-8pm CST). This schedule is expected for a minimum of 12 months before consideration for another shift.
  • All computer equipment is provided. Remote work requirements include a professional workspace with a dedicated desk and wired high-speed internet (minimum 100 Mbps download, 20 Mbps upload). Satellite and mobile internet are not supported.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years sales experience preferred; 2 years of sales/service-related work experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills; ability to close sales.
  • Effective communication with prospects and customers.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Strong typing and PC proficiency.
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License (training provided if not currently licensed).

The typical starting salary range is determined by factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the national market value and provides opportunity to progress as you grow. Some roles may include commission/bonus opportunities as defined by the compensation plan.
