The listing does not mean that any positions are currently open or available at Costco.</span></em></p><p> </p><p><strong><span>Position Summary</span></strong></p><p><span>Monitors gas pumps, traffic flow, storage tanks, cleans and manages spills, assists members, and responds to potential </span><span>emergencies. Cleans, manages spills, and performs routine maintenance and inspections. Provides a high level of member service.</span></p><p> </p><p><strong><span>Job Duties</span></strong></p><ul><li><span>Monitors pumps for proper function during operation, assesses problems, directs traffic, assists and educates members.</span></li><li><span>Changes gas station filters and performs or arranges for routine station equipment maintenance.</span></li><li><span>Cleans gas spills using neutralizing agents and/or absorbing cloth, disposing of materials properly.</span></li><li><span>Monitors cleanliness of the station, including dispensers, data shed, islands, pavement, and trash.</span></li><li><span>Loads pump receipt tape and ribbons.</span></li><li><span>Performs inspection of all equipment, provides routine maintenance on filters and nozzles, and controls open or closed signs.</span></li><li><span>Researches area competitive pricing, documenting reports into the computer.</span></li><li><span>Monitors fuel deliveries, ensures safety precautions, and completes all documentation.</span></li><li><span>Enforces National fire codes and Costco safety policies, e.g. no smoking, ignition turned off, filling storage containers.</span></li><li><span>Responds to alarms appropriately.
