Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Market Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their purchases and ensuring a well- organized and stocked retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a knack for upselling, and a basic understanding of retail operations. Responsibilities * Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selection. * Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by stocking shelves and arranging merchandise effectively. * Utilize basic math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and transactions. * Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales. * Perform regular inventory checks to ensure products are adequately stocked and assist in restocking as needed. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Experience * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. * Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and basic retail math is advantageous. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
