Intrepid Sports Management Location: Remote (United States) with opportunities for in-person events and travel Position Type: Internship (Academic Credit Eligible) Term: Fall 2026 Commitment: 10–15 hours per week (Flexible) About Intrepid Sports Management Intrepid Sports Management is a full-service athlete representation and sports marketing agency dedicated to helping athletes maximize opportunities on and off the court. Our services include athlete representation, Name, Image & Likeness (NIL), overseas placement, marketing partnerships, sponsorship sales, career development, event management, and brand strategy. At Intrepid, interns don't just observe—they contribute. We believe in providing meaningful, hands-on experience that prepares future sports industry professionals for careers in athlete representation, sports marketing, partnerships, and business development. Position Summary Intrepid Sports Management is seeking highly motivated, coachable, and passionate students to join our Fall 2026 Internship Program. Interns will work directly with agency leadership on real-world projects involving athlete representation, NIL strategy, sponsorship sales, marketing, operations, and business development. This internship is designed for individuals who want practical experience and a behind-the-scenes look at how a modern sports agency operates. Areas of Focus Depending on experience and agency needs, interns may support one or more of the following areas: Athlete Representation Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) Corporate Partnerships & Sponsorship Sales Sports Marketing Business Development Social Media & Digital Marketing Event Planning & Operations Graphic Design & Content Creation Recruiting & Talent Evaluation Research & Analytics CRM & Database Management Administrative Operations Responsibilities Interns may assist with: Researching prospective athletes, teams, and corporate partners. Identifying NIL and sponsorship opportunities. Assisting with athlete marketing initiatives. Supporting business development campaigns. Managing CRM records and contact databases. Creating presentations, proposals, and sponsorship materials. Assisting with social media content and digital campaigns. Conducting market and industry research. Supporting agency events, showcases, and networking initiatives. Participating in weekly team meetings and professional development sessions. Collaborating with agency leadership on strategic projects. Preferred Qualifications We're looking for individuals who are: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university. Pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field (preferred but not required). Passionate about sports and athlete development. Strong communicators with excellent written and verbal skills. Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively. Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace. Familiar with social media platforms and digital communication.
