Kaizen Management Solutions is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) and one of New York City’s first fully electric cargo bike delivery providers, operating in lower Manhattan. We are redefining last-mile logistics by delivering sustainably, efficiently, and with precision — one package at a time.

We’re seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Dispatcher to support leading our E-Bike Logistics and Delivery Operations. We operate from 2:00AM to 11:00PM, with a particular focus on our Breakfast (3:30AM) to Brunch (7:30AM) delivery shifts. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, team performance, and continuous improvement across our growing DSP.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with boots-on-the-ground leadership, someone who can manage 30–50 delivery associates, oversee dispatch and routing, and use data-driven insights to optimize delivery performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities Dispatcher

  • Oversee day-to-day e-bike delivery operations, ensuring all morning routes launch on time and safely.
  • Manage dispatching, routing, and scheduling using Amazon’s transportation and station management systems.
  • Lead loadout and staging operations, ensuring smooth package flow from warehouse to delivery.
  • Monitor Delivery Excellence metrics (Safety, Quality, Reliability, DCR, Customer Feedback) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner directly with Amazon station leadership and Chief Operations Manager to resolve operational issues in real time.

People & Performance Management

  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of Lead Drivers, and 25 - 50 Delivery Associates.
  • Conduct morning huddles, safety briefings, and post-shift debriefs to maintain alignment and motivation.
  • Implement performance tracking, recognition, and corrective action frameworks consistent with Amazon DSP standards.
  • Recruit, train, and retain high-performing delivery staff in collaboration with the HR/recruiting team.

Process & Logistics Optimization

  • Analyze data from Amazon systems to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Implement process changes that streamline operations, reduce cost, and improve delivery speed and reliability.
  • Maintain oversight of fleet readiness and equipment tracking (bikes, batteries, helmets, and devices).
  • Ensure compliance with all Amazon DSP Program Policies, safety protocols, and labor regulations.

Cross-Functional & Strategic Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Amazon’s on-site operations, HR, and logistics teams to align performance and staffing plans.
  • Partner on inventory control, sourcing, and vendor management to ensure readiness for route volume fluctuations.
  • Support growth initiatives such as fleet expansion, new station readiness, and seasonal scaling.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, transportation, or warehouse management.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.
  • Strong understanding of dispatching, scheduling, and route optimization (Amazon DSP, FedEx, UPS, or courier background ideal).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Tech-savvy with ability to navigate Amazon systems, Excel, and performance dashboards.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors when needed.
  • Flexible schedule - able to start early (3:00AM) and support weekend or peak shifts as required.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics (or equivalent experience).
  • Background in E-bike, micro-mobility, or urban delivery logistics.
  • Familiarity with ADP, or similar workforce management tools.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses.
  • Health insurance, 401(k) program, and Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • Career advancement within a fast-growing DSP and Amazon’s expanding e-bike network.
  • Leadership development and certification aligned with Amazon operational standards.
  • A culture grounded in Kaizen - continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Opportunity to be part of a sustainability-forward delivery movement reshaping NYC logistics.

1. HOW DO YOU PLAN YOUR DAY?

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? Remote teams can be made up of people working on different shifts and around the world, so you won't necessarily be stuck in the 9-5 schedule if it's not for you...

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

3. WHAT IS "WORKING REMOTE" REALLY FOR YOU?

Many people want to work remotely because of the flexibility it allows. You can work anywhere and at any time of the day...

With this question, companies are looking to see what equipment they may need to provide you with and to verify how aware you are of what remote working could mean for you physically and logistically...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
