This means you'll help homeowners determine whether they need to improve what's happening <strong>inside</strong> their cabinets, refresh what's happening <strong>on the outside</strong>, or combine both to create a more functional and updated space.</p><p>The role combines consultative sales, space planning, product expertise, cabinet knowledge, and relationship building into one rewarding career. The Art of Drawers design process starts with understanding the customer's needs first, then creating solutions that improve workflow, accessibility, visibility, organization, and the overall look of the space.</p><p>The key quality of a successful designer is a genuine commitment to helping people by educating them on the products, options, and possibilities available through Art of Drawers.</p><p><strong>You set your hours. You decide your sales goals.</strong></p><p><br></p>Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct in-home design appointments with self-generated client leads and company-generated leads</li><li>Listen to homeowners' needs and identify opportunities for <strong>pull-out drawers, storage solutions, cabinet refacing, or a combination of solutions</strong></li><li>Create accurate designs and measurements, prepare quotes, and close sales</li><li>Educate homeowners on the benefits, options, materials, finishes, and functionality of our products</li><li>Present cabinet refacing solutions, including new cabinet doors, drawer fronts, finishes, and related upgrades</li><li>Provide an exceptional customer experience from initial engagement through successful project sign-off</li><li>Collaborate effectively with installers and operations</li><li>Upload leads, orders, estimates, and client designs/photos promptly</li><li>Earn positive customer reviews and referrals</li><li>Commit to continuous improvement by attending and participating in ongoing designer training and seeking out feedback</li></ul><p><br></p>Qualifications<ul><li>Easily build rapport and communicate with prospects and clients</li><li>Quickly learn and accurately present Art of Drawers' products, including <strong>custom pull-out drawers, storage solutions, and cabinet refacing</strong></li><li>Employ basic math, design, measuring, and documentation skills</li><li>Strong organizational and oral/written professional communication skills</li><li>Enjoy working independently</li><li>Friendly, confident, consultative, and driven nature</li><li>HUGE Plus</li><li>Previous in-home sales, design, remodeling, <strong>cabinet refacing</strong>, luxury sales, or space-planning experience</li><li>Experience selling kitchens, cabinetry, home improvement, remodeling, closets, flooring, countertops, windows, or other residential products</li><li>Referral Network to hit the ground running with self-generated leads</li></ul><li><br></li>What You Get<p><strong>Pay Upgrade: $40-$100+ / hour</strong></p><p>Up to 19% commission per job, with commissions paid at the time of sale. Designers may also access bonus opportunities and referral fees.</p><ul><li><strong>Monthly Bonuses:</strong> Based upon performance</li><li><strong>Flexible Schedule:</strong> Work the days you want (e.g., Tuesdays–Thursdays)</li><li><strong>Full Time or Part Time:</strong> Your call. We provide the training and tools to help you succeed.</p><ul><li>Ride-alongs and field training with experienced designers</li><li>Online modules, videos, manuals, and face-to-face check-ins covering Art of Drawers' products, including pull-out storage and cabinet refacing</li><li>Training on measuring, design, quoting, presentation, and closing</li><li>Interactive AI sales appointment simulations, live practice appointments, and real-time appointment feedback</li><li>3-day sales training in Atlanta/Kansas City</li><li>Ongoing sales coaching and product training</li><li>Lead generation and referral training</li><li>Continued education on new products, materials, finishes, and design solutions</li></ul><p><br></p>Our Hiring Process<ul><li><strong>Apply:</strong> Apply here.
