<p>Role : Datadog Senior Consultant</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> 100% Remote – USA</p><p><strong>Duration:</strong> 12+ Months</p><p><strong>Experience:</strong> 12+ Years</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Rate:</strong> $55/hr on C2C/1099 Max</p><p>Visa : USC/GC</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Role Overview:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Looking for a <strong>Senior Datadog / Data Reliability Consultant</strong> who can independently architect and implement a <strong>Datadog Data Observability platform from the ground up</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Must-Have Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong hands-on <strong>Datadog Data Observability</strong> implementation experience</li><li>Proven experience building <strong>monitoring/observability frameworks from scratch</strong></li><li>Expert <strong>Python</strong> skills for custom Datadog SDK/API instrumentation</li><li>Strong experience with <strong>REST/GraphQL APIs</strong></li><li>Hands-on <strong>dbt</strong> monitoring, model execution, and test-failure analysis</li><li>Strong <strong>AWS Athena & S3</strong> experience</li><li>Data pipeline monitoring, schema/payload drift, data freshness, volume anomalies, and query performance</li><li>7+ years of <strong>Data Engineering / Data Reliability / Observability</strong> experience</li><li>Ability to work <strong>independently with minimal supervision</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Important:</strong></p><ul><li>Candidates whose experience is primarily <strong>Snowflake or Databricks</strong> without strong <strong>Datadog + AWS Athena/S3 + dbt</strong> experience are <strong>not a match</strong>.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Mike Smith</strong></p><p>mike.smith@vbize.net</p>
