Stompers is a social fitness app that makes walking more fun by turning daily steps into friendly competition with friends.

We’re looking for a casual, engaging blog writer with SEO experience to help us create useful content around walking, fitness, wellness, healthy habits, motivation, and social accountability.

This is not a highly technical or clinical writing role. We want content that feels friendly, energetic, easy to understand, and genuinely enjoyable to read.

### What You’ll Do

* Write SEO-friendly blog posts for the Stompers website

* Research topics related to walking, fitness, health, wellness, and habit-building

* Turn common search queries into useful and engaging articles

* Naturally include target keywords without making the writing feel forced

* Create strong titles, introductions, headings, and article structures

* Write meta titles and meta descriptions

* Add credible sources where appropriate

* Follow content briefs and make revisions based on feedback

* Help suggest new blog topics and SEO opportunities

Example topics may include:

* How many steps should you walk per day?

* Fun walking challenges to do with friends

* How to stay motivated to exercise

* Does walking help with weight loss?

* Ways to make walking less boring

* Benefits of social accountability for fitness

* Walking versus running

* How step competitions can build healthier habits

### What We’re Looking For

* Strong English writing and editing skills

* Previous experience writing SEO-focused blog content

* A casual, conversational, and human writing style

* An understanding of search intent and on-page SEO

* Ability to explain health and fitness topics clearly

* Strong research skills and attention to factual accuracy

* Reliable communication and consistent turnaround times

* Writing that does not feel generic, overly corporate, or obviously AI-generated

Experience writing for fitness apps, wellness brands, consumer apps, or younger audiences is a plus.
