Job Summary

Walmart is seeking friendly, dependable, and energetic individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Cashiers. This is a customer-facing position that plays a vital role in delivering excellent service to our valued shoppers. As a Cashier, you will be the face of Walmart—welcoming customers, handling transactions accurately, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. No previous experience? No problem! We provide comprehensive training to set you up for success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude

  • Operate cash registers, handle cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately

  • Scan merchandise and ensure correct pricing

  • Provide bagging assistance and offer carry-out help when needed

  • Address customer inquiries and resolve basic concerns professionally

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at your workstation

  • Follow company procedures and safety protocols

  • Collaborate with other team members to support store operations

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required

  • Basic math and communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn

  • Must be 16 years of age or older

Working Hours
